When you can say "I have a book," it instantly elevates your expertise in someone's eyes. So the question is, why doesn't everyone have a book published?

When I ask women in my community that question, I get a lot of responses: "I don't know where to start," "It seems too time-consuming and expensive," and, most heartbreakingly, "Who would buy it? I'm just me; I'm nobody special."

These doubts and fears are all too common. To debunk these myths and offer guidance, I invited Debbie Keven, founder of Highlander Press, to join us for a conversation about the process and benefits of becoming a published author.

Overcoming Common Fears: Discussing the prevalent fears women have about publishing a book, including fear of not being good enough and fear of the process itself.

The Benefits of Publishing: How having a book can establish authority, attract clients, and serve as a powerful marketing tool.

The Anthology Approach: Introducing the concept of anthology books as a collaborative and less time-intensive way to become a published author.

- Writing and Marketing Process: Detailed breakdown of the steps involved in writing, editing, publishing, and marketing a book, emphasizing the importance of visibility and leveraging the book for business growth.

Special Announcement: Unveiling the upcoming She Boss Cafe anthology project, "Becoming Unstoppable: How Ordinary Women Achieve Extraordinary Success," with details on how community members can participate.

If you're excited about the idea of becoming a published author, either through your own book or by contributing to an anthology, I encourage you to join our upcoming Informational Session on August 14th at 3 PM Eastern.
